Overview
We start the tour at the submarine tunnels, which were built by the Yugoslav Army. The outer opening is designed and covered with fake rocks to make it invisible to satellites and spy planes. The tunnel is approximately 100 meters long and 10 meters deep.
Next, we pass by two islands located not far from Krašići. The smaller island, where a church is located, is called Lady of Mercy, while the larger island next to it is St. Marko, also known among the locals as the Island of the French.
We then enjoy a panoramic view of Porto Montenegro before heading to two more islands.
The first is Our Lady of the Rocks, an artificial island created by a bulwark of rocks and the sinking of old, seized ships loaded with stones. According to legend, the islet was gradually built over the centuries by local seamen who, after finding an icon of the Holy Mother with Christ on a crag in the sea on July 22, 1452, took an oath to honor the site.
The second island is St. George, named after Saint George, an early Christian martyr venerated as a saint in Christianity. According to tradition, he was a soldier in the Roman army.
At the end of the tour, you may choose to engage in activities such as fishing, diving, or swimming. These activities require prior agreement with the skipper before the tour begins.
